Bacon Ranch BBQ Chicken Sliders (Print)

Tender BBQ chicken, crispy bacon, ranch, cheese, and fresh toppings in handheld sliders.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1.5 lbs chicken breasts, cut into 4-inch pieces
02 - 1 pack Hawaiian rolls, 12 count
03 - 8 slices bacon
04 - 2 cups barbecue sauce, divided
05 - 1/3 cup mayonnaise
06 - 1/4 cup ranch dressing
07 - 2 cups shredded lettuce
08 - 1/4 red onion, sliced
09 - 12 squares Colby jack cheese, cracker-cut size

# How to Make It:

01 - Place chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl with 1 cup barbecue sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally 4 hours or overnight.
02 - Cook bacon in a skillet over low heat until crispy. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease.
03 - Prepare a grill to medium heat and cook chicken for about 3 minutes per side, basting with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce as it cooks. Chicken is done when its internal temperature reaches 165°F (73.8°C).
04 - Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally for sandwiches. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns.
05 - Place grilled chicken on the bottom buns, spread additional barbecue sauce over the chicken, add a slice of cheese, then top with bacon, red onion slices, shredded lettuce, and drizzle ranch dressing over the lettuce.
06 - Place the top buns on the sliders, slice them into individual portions, and serve. If preparing ahead, add ranch dressing just before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in barbecue sauce.
