01 -
Place chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl with 1 cup barbecue sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally 4 hours or overnight.

Cook bacon in a skillet over low heat until crispy. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease.
03 -
Prepare a grill to medium heat and cook chicken for about 3 minutes per side, basting with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce as it cooks. Chicken is done when its internal temperature reaches 165°F (73.8°C).
04 -
Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally for sandwiches. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns.
05 -
Place grilled chicken on the bottom buns, spread additional barbecue sauce over the chicken, add a slice of cheese, then top with bacon, red onion slices, shredded lettuce, and drizzle ranch dressing over the lettuce.
06 -
Place the top buns on the sliders, slice them into individual portions, and serve. If preparing ahead, add ranch dressing just before serving.
