# What You'll Need:

→ Roasted Tomato Ingredients

01 - 4 cups grape or cherry tomatoes (approximately 2 pints)
02 - 2 cloves garlic, smashed and left in their skin
03 - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano, or Italian mix)
04 - 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
05 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
06 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
07 - A pinch of salt
08 - Ground black pepper
09 - 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

→ Additional Ingredients

10 - 8 ounces burrata cheese, at room temperature (or goat cheese)
11 - Grilled bread, crackers, crisps, or toasted crostini

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Toss tomatoes with dried herbs, olive oil, balsamic vinegar (if using), and smashed garlic on a rimmed baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Line baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup (optional).
02 - Spread tomatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until softened, skins split, and slightly charred. Monitor carefully to prevent burning.
03 - Remove tomatoes from the oven. Squeeze garlic out of its peel and mash into the pan juices with a fork. Toss tomatoes with fresh basil or parsley for added flavor.
04 - Transfer roasted tomatoes and pan juices to a serving plate. Tear or chunk burrata, arranging it among the tomatoes to mingle flavors and textures.
05 - Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar (if desired) over the dish. Sprinkle with additional salt, pepper, and fresh basil before serving.
06 - Serve with grilled bread, crackers, or crostini. Enjoy as an appetizer or light meal featuring creamy burrata and roasted tomato flavors.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Bring burrata cheese to room temperature to ensure the best creamy texture.
02 - Watch tomatoes closely while roasting to avoid burning.
