Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Chicken Bites (Print)

Savory chicken, spicy jalapeños, and creamy cheeses wrapped in crispy bacon make flavorful party bites.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 6 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
03 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
06 - Toothpicks for securing

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 tsp garlic powder
08 - 1 tsp onion powder
09 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
10 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
11 - 1/4 tsp salt

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
03 - Take each jalapeño half and fill it generously with the cheese mixture, using a spoon or a piping bag for easier filling.
04 - Take a piece of the diced chicken breast and press it against the cheese-filled jalapeño. Then, take a half-slice of bacon and wrap it around the jalapeño and chicken, securing it in place with a toothpick. Repeat this process with the remaining ingredients.
05 - Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeño chicken bites on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
07 - Once baked, remove the bites from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or game-day snack.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Ensure the chicken pieces are small enough to cook evenly with the bacon and jalapeño.
02 - To add more heat, leave the seeds in some of the jalapeños.
