Tender chicken in a honey-lime marinade, grilled or baked for sweet, tangy, and aromatic flavor in every bite.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 680 grams)

→ Marinade

02 - 60 millilitres fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
03 - 60 millilitres pure honey
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 30 millilitres olive oil
06 - 5 millilitres ground cumin
07 - 5 millilitres chili powder (optional)
08 - 5 millilitres salt
09 - 2.5 millilitres ground black pepper

→ To Serve

10 - 60 millilitres fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together fresh lime juice, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, chili powder (if using), salt, and black pepper until well combined.
02 - Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated thoroughly. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for enhanced flavor.
03 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat (approximately 190°C) or preheat oven to 200°C.
04 - For grilling, cook chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, turning once, until the internal temperature reaches 74°C. For baking, arrange chicken in a greased baking dish and cook for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
05 - Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle chopped fresh cilantro over the top and serve with steamed rice or fresh vegetables as desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For optimal flavor infusion, extend marinating time to several hours or overnight.
02 - Resting the chicken after cooking ensures juiciness and easier slicing.
